Happy Hendricks Home....OWNERS!

Greetings my faithful followers!!  I'm sorry I have been a little MIA lately, but November has proven to be a VERY busy month.  I started training for my new job (more on that in a later post :)), cheered on some NYC marathoners, travelled to Texas with Vissi (that definitely gets another post), taught a Master class in South Jersey AND have been trying to pack in every other spare moment!

Oh yeah, and we closed on our condo today.....no biggie!  ;-)

I mean....WOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!  :)

Now we just have to get through the move and we will be home free....well other than unpacking and getting through all of our holiday traveling.  Anyway, I promise to pay a little more attention to my little blog as soon as things settle down, but until then, I'll leave you with some exciting pictures from our closing day activities!  Our camera battery died right as we were signing the paperwork, so I had to take them all with my phone, but you get the gist of it!

 Hip Hip Hooray....we OWN a condo!! (Actually, 0.57% of Canco Lofts...oh yeah!)

 Outside our new front door :)

Getting the keys!

 Sunset in our new home

Our fabulous windows and new view....LOVE it! :)

Next post will be from Jersey City!!!

Sunday=Run-day!

Today has been sort of a downer of a day, but instead of using my blog to complain, I decided to write about something fun!  (Well I guess I sort of complained a little since I did mention the crumminess that is today, but I digress...)

This past Sunday, Halloween!, Jen and I ran in a 5 mile race in Central Park!  It was the NYC Poland Spring Marathon Kick-off and even though neither of us are running the marathon, it definitely got us in the marathon spirit!!  This was my first race in Central Park in almost a year (the last one was very cold and very late but very fun...remember this?) and I forgot how great it is.  All those runners, getting up early on a Sunday morning and coming together to run through a park in the middle of a hustly-bustly city, what could be better?!   Since it was on Halloween, a lot of people were dressed up in crazy costumes...Jen and I decided to be real original and go as runners...ha!  But really, it's hard enough to run 5 miles at 8:30 on a Sunday morning in 40 degree weather without having to worry about a cape or a mask or scary fake bloodied swords (really, I ran right past a guy carrying a sword in each hand....craziness, I tell ya!).  Anyway, my time may not have been my best, but I definitely had a blast! And of course, I have to thank my wonderful hubby for getting out of bed at 7:30 am to come with us and hold our fleeces and take pictures and cheer us on....what would I do without him!

 Me and Jen pre-race

The view from Central Park on a gorgeous Sunday Morn!

There's me!  Almost done!

Hey Jen!!  Way to go!

We did it!

Somehow the photographer (aka Matt) didn't get in any pics that morning....but believe me, he was there cheering us on like a champ!
